1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
As a young military wife and mother I feel that I am representing a very important group of women. I am extremely passionate about my platform, United Through Reading, and feel my dedication to my platform goes hand in hand with the Mrs. International® System’s values.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
My husband calls me cat woman! I’ve never had a cat before we got married and he taught classes for the military. I was all alone in a new state so before he left we got the first of our 3 cats and, they sleep with me every night!
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
I absolutely love to cook so finding delicious and healthy recipes has been a rewarding challenge for my family. I have proudly converted my husband into a grilled fish lover! I also enjoy taking my daughter out for a jog most mornings before work.
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
Family values are whatever your family holds near to their heart. We make a big effort to eat dinner together every night and that has been a really rewarding commitment for us. Even if the food isn't always great we spend quality time together and have a good laugh.
5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
I am a PROCRASTINATOR!!! I would much rather be outside on a nice day than doing homework or laundry! It's just so hard to sit down and study or clean when you have this precious little face looking up at you wanting to play!
