1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
I love that the International pageant system is in alliance with the American Heart Association. Because of my own personal connection to the cause, I feel as though it is a very natural fit. I am very proud and excited to be a part of this organization.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
I am currently a “foster mommy” through a local animal shelter. I take in tiny kittens who were abandoned, still needing to be bottle fed and raise them until they are old enough to be adopted. To date I have raised over 35 kittens.
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
I feel that maintaining an active lifestyle is key. I am a vegetarian for both the health benefits along with animal rights. To me, being healthy is more than just diet and exercise, I believe keeping a positive outlook and a clear mind will always benefit your overall health.
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
Just as different and unique as each family is, everyones list of family values is going to be respectably different. To me my family it is honesty, respect, togetherness, loyalty, and unconditional love.
5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
I am a chocoholic!! I love chocolate in any form, brownies, cookies, candy bars, ice cream, you name it. I guess it is not really a terrible habit as long as I eat it in moderation.
